Workshops to look forward to in 2020  (5 hours in total)

 

Playing with Porcelain- Beads, Buttons & More   (over 2 Saturdays, 6 hours)

A great little workshop where you will learn how to make porcelain beads, buttons, spoons or little pinch pot ring and jewellery holders.  The first class will focus on making and the second on decorating and surface finish, includes some tissue transfers, underglazes and underglaze pencils.

Cost: $230 includes all materials

Clay Bust  (over 2 Saturdays 7 hours) TBC

A fast paced little workshop with step by step instruction on hand building a clay bust.  Learn how to measure the face and be introduced to basic hand modelling of facial features.  This workshop is for all levels and you will finish a small size bust ready for firing.  Glaze and surface decoration in the second workshop, workshops over a fortnight.

Cost: $ includes clay, firing is $6kg for this workshop.

Make a Magical Garden House   (over 2 Saturdays, 5 hours)

1 Parent & 1 child aged 7 and up only.

Build a magical little pad for those night time fairies  or gruff goblins to rest their little heads in, add some magical mushrooms too, a great gift for any little person that loves magical folk. A great experience for parent a child, creating special memories and forever keepsake

Cost: $140 includes clay, firing is $6kg for this workshop.

 

 

Fairy House Workshop for Adults

You will be guided along a wonderful  journey  on how to make a fairy house plus some fairy mushrooms for fairy folk to play on.  Your unique Fairy House can then live in your garden and will survive the weather.  You will be introduced to 2 hand building techniques including slab and coil to build a magical little pad for those night time fairies to rest their little head, a great gift for any little person that loves fairy folk.

A very special and wonderful gift for the precious little people in your life, something to keep made with your hands and close to your heart.

Cost: $150 includes clay, firing is an additional $5kg for this workshop.  Payment will be required on pickup of completed Fairy Houses.
