Service Description

## GLAZE ACCESS **For independent makers who are confident with the glazing process.** Glaze Access gives experienced makers the opportunity to use our studio glaze collection, including a range of **mid-fire and stoneware glazes, with some earthenware options available**. This is an **independent studio service and is not a facilitated glazing session or class**. You should already understand the glazing process, including appropriate application, glaze preparation and how to work safely and responsibly within a shared ceramics studio. We will happily show you which glazes are available and which are appropriate for your clay body and firing temperature. Beyond this, you are expected to work independently. If you require ongoing assistance, instruction or troubleshooting during your session, additional staff time will be charged at **$50 per hour**. If you are unsure about glazing or would like guidance with glaze application, combinations, techniques or troubleshooting, we recommend booking a One-on-One Ceramics Consultation before using Glaze Access. Our aim is to make our glaze collection available to confident independent makers while ensuring our studio team can continue with their own work and responsibilities. **Please note:** Firing is not included in Glaze Access and is charged separately.
