Beginner Glaze Access New to glazing? Start with a **one-hour guided glaze session** designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to glaze your own work independently. During your first hour, we’ll walk you through the essentials — from preparing and waxing the base of your pieces, to choosing the correct glaze for your required firing temperature, applying glaze safely and effectively, and preparing your work for firing. We’ll also show you how to use the studio glazing equipment and answer your initial questions. Your first hour is $130, which includes personalised guidance and an introduction to our glazing processes. Once you’ve completed your introductory session, you can book **independent glaze studio access at $45 per hour**. This gives you access to the studio equipment and glazing facilities so you can work at your own pace. Please note: the $45/hour rate is for **independent studio access**. It does not include ongoing tuition or one-on-one assistance. If you need further guidance, a private consultation can be booked separately.
