About the event
For Ages 15-18, this class is specifically tailored for young people wishing to learn the wheel. We take a step-by-step approach, slowly guiding students to achieve the best possible results.
Students will learn how to prepare, centre, throw, finish and glaze their work. The class size is small and limited to 6 as it is quite an intensive course with our very experienced teacher Jen Garland. Jen is a retired teacher and experienced with you people and works from her own little home studio, a perfect combination.
FIRING is not included, Bisque & glaze firing is charged at $12 per Kg on pickup of work.
New students will be focusing on
Week 1 - April 28 - Practice, practice, practice. We do not keep anything made from this class.
Week 2 - May 5 - Cylinders and more cylinders, because we want to get it right.
