Intermediate Wheel, Term 2 Saturday.

To take part in our intermediate wheel class you need to have completed our 6 week beginner course or confirm that you can centre clay and throw cylinders and small bowls.  We suggest that you take part in the beginner course a second and third time to get your skill level up.

The focus of this class is to complete a 2-4 piece place setting. Handled cups, bowls and plates similar in size and form.

Ongoing from this and given the skill level of the group further courses will include:

Flatware

Lidded Vessels

Larger bowls/vessels/flatware

Teapots

You will pick your best set of 2-4 place settings per class to glaze and fire, we are conscious of our resources and will recycle clay pieces that don't make the cut, so you will need to choose.

We use our studio white clay any other clay will need to be purchased.

With only 8 students per class it is perfect to hone your skills and get the basics right. 

You will need to thoroughly clean and sanitise your work station and any tools used.

You will be unable to enter if you are unwell.

You will need to bring in your own food and drinks for tea break.

We promote vaccination at Be My Keeper Studio.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Studio is located at Shed 4/39 Smithton Grove, Ocean Grove

Please park on Smithton Grove as the studio parking is not available.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please bring a towel, apron, dust mask.

Comfortable clothing, closed shoes.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

No, Please book wisely, cancellations will forfeit fee paid (classes a reliant on numbers to proceed) and if your spot can't be filled I cannot refund money paid.

If you are unable to attend a class we are unable to refund for the missed class, we are unable to offer makeup classes at this stage due to our restricted numbers in all our classes.
