Be My Keeper is a place to slow down, make with intention and explore your creativity through clay.

Classes are intentionally small and supportive, creating space for individual guidance, experimentation and creative discovery. Whether you are completely new to clay or looking to extend your existing skills, you’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace and develop a practice that feels personal to you.

With generous class times, access to a wide range of materials and a strong focus on surface and glaze exploration, there is room to experiment, refine your skills and create work that is uniquely your own.

Hand Building

Learn foundational and contemporary hand-building techniques through guided projects, while developing your own ideas and approach to making.

Wheel Throwing

Build confidence on the wheel while exploring form, function and the many possibilities of throwing and altering clay.

Surface & Glaze

Discover the creative possibilities of slips, underglazes, texture and glaze. Explore colour, layering and surface to create ceramics with depth and individuality.

Beginner Courses

A supportive introduction to clay, designed to build strong foundations while giving you plenty of opportunity to experiment and find your own creative rhythm.

Develop your technical skills, experiment with new processes and push your ideas further as you begin to establish your own creative direction.
