Still Life -Acrylic Painting

Painting is a peaceful place, where the world slows down for me and I can become engrossed in the interplay of forms and colours. It’s satisfying to spend time with collections of objects, some meaningful, some mundane, and to consider the details of them and the spaces in between.  

Over 8 weeks, I’d love to share my approach with you: to introduce techniques for representing what you see beautifully and for working with acrylic to get the results you want. We will supply everything you need to get started, allowing you to try before you need to go building your own kit.  Teaching art has been my passion for more than 16 years and making art for more than 25. Let’s see what we can do together at BMK Studio.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to the event?

This class will be located at Free Hand Projects Shed 3/41 Smithton Grove, Ocean Grove.  This space is situated directly behind Be My Keeper Studio.

Please Park on Smithton Grove as the studio parking is not available.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

We will supply materials for this event, if you have drawing materials or your favourite brushes please feel free to bring these along.

Please bring an apron and supply your own towel for cleaning and drying.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Cancellations will forfeit the fee paid (classes a reliant on numbers to proceed) and if your spot can't be filled, I cannot refund the money paid.
